Hello friends!! Rosemary here today sharing a little card I made. Easter is right around the corner and the A Jillian Vance Design Simply Said: He is Risen set is perfect for creating beautiful Easter cards.

I started my card by water coloring a piece of water color paper with two different Ranger Distress inks: Broken China and Faded Jeans. After the panel had dried I trimmed it down and stamped the main sentiment from He is Risen using Memento London Fog ink. I added some little banners cut from polka dot embossed vellum, a bit of off-white twine and then mounted the piece on light grey cardstock. I really love the soft look that the water colored background provides for the beautiful sentiment.
