Hello friends!! Rosemary here today and I have a fun little card that I made using the super cute AJVD stamp set, Celebrate Cake. This set has so many fun sentiments that can be used alone or stacked on top of the cute little cake plate. For this card I used the current sketch from Freshly Made Sketches so I will be posting there, as well.
I started by looking through a pad of Teresa Collins papers (from the Family Stories pad) that I had not yet put away and found this cute piece in a red/aqua color combo. I cut the paper to fit my card based and adhered it. White cardstock was cut, two corners rounded and the sentiment and cake plate stamped in aqua and red inks. A strip of patterned paper was trimmed and adhered. I added some scarlet satin AJVD sequins and then added some clear Wink of Stella to the word cake for a bit of sparkle. Here is a close up so you can see the sparkle:
