Last Monday, our beloved Buckeyes played an amazing game to claim the National Championship. As a Buckeye fan, it is a moment I will always treasure. Kecia Waters on the blog today.
The {die}velop Foto Frames & {die}alogue Bubbles Die Set is a great way to frame favorite photos. And, as a bonus, I discovered that these dies can easily be used to turn your favorite photos into a shaker. Endless possibilities.
I cut a foto frame from white cardstock, acetate, and a white foam sheet.
I have found that it is most helpful to build a shaker from the bottom layer to the top layer. Using a one of my favorite photos from last Monday as the base of the shaker (compliments of one of my favorite sites, Eleven Warriors), I sprinkled Buckeye Blend Satin Sequins on top of the photo. Then, I adhered the foto frame of white foam to the photo, followed by acetate, followed by white cardstock.
Using Versafine Onyx Black, I stamped "Ohio State Buckeyes" from the AJVD stamp set "Ohio Game Day". I found the perfect button, tied some AJVD "Buckeye Blend Exclusive Divine Twine" to the button, and tucked three leaves cut from green cardstock using the AJVD "Emerald Backdrop Die Set".
I then adhered the shaker to a card panel of patterned paper from Jillibean Soup.

Though this card was made to commemorate a special moment in the lives of Buckeye fans, I encourage you to see AJVD {die}velop Foto Frames as a great tool for making shakers out of any special photo from your collection.
Smiles,
