Since the holidays are over, you might find yourself needing some thank you cards. I needed a few. I am embarrassed, yet secretly delighted, as to how quickly I was able to make this card to show my appreciation. Kecia Waters on the blog today, here to share how to make this quick thank you card.
I stamped the snowman image from the AJVD "Frosty Stamp and Die Collection" with Versafine Onyx Black directly onto a page from an old, outdated textbook I know I will never read again. I fussy cut around the snowman's body only, not worrying about the nose or arms.
Then, directly onto card panel of kraft cardstock, I stamped the snowman again from the "Frosty Stamp and Die Collection" with Versafine Onxy Black. I adhered my "text body" onto the image. I colored the nose with a Prismacolor Pencil. I stamped the snowman again onto a scrap of patterned paper from Bo Bunny, and cut around the scarf only, so that I could adhere it to my card.
After assembling the snowman, I made the decision to do everything else in black so the white snowman would be the focal point. With a Memento Tuxedo Black marker, I drew the line to serve as the ground. I stamped the sentiment and snowflakes, all from the "Frosty Stamp and Die Collection", with Versafine Onxy Black.
