I cannot rave enough about the Sam E. Snowman Shaker Die Set designed by AJVD and Whimsie Doodles. Makes shaker cards so easy!!!
Kecia Waters here on the blog today with a quick card that came together in minutes thanks to the ease of this die set.
To make this card, I used the Sam E. Snowman Shaker Die Set to cut the snowman, hat, eyes and carrot. I like to build my shakers from the base to the top, so that meant I cut the snowman body with white cardstock and cut a piece of white foam sheet with the included circle die in the middle. I adhered these two pieced together and then added a pinch of Mica Flake Glitter.
I then used the snowman body to cut the acetate, and used the die with the included circle to cut the top layer of white cardstock. These were then adhered together. I added the hat and the eyes, cut from black cardstock, along with the carrot, cut from orange cardstock. I tied some red and white striped ribbon to act as the scarf.

I placed the snowman onto the card panel, which was made using patterned paper from The Paper Studio, and torn white cardstock for the snow-covered ground. I added some snowflakes cut from the Sam E. Snowman Shaker Die Set into the scene, along with stamping the sentiment from the In The Meadow by Whimsie Doodles with Versafine Onyx Black.
