Angel and Holly Christmas Ornament

Hello, Lisa Hoel here again with a guest post. The Holly and Swirls die is so versatile, today I used it to make a Christmas ornament. It's perfect for a little gift or to hang on your own tree.

The vintage angel image is from The Graphics Fairy website. You can download a high resolution version from there if you want to make your own ornament. You can't really see it from the photo, but I accented the image with various colors of Ranger's Perfect Pearls powder. You can mix a dab of powder with a drop of water and it makes a watercolor paint that is perfect for adding shimmery touches to your images.

The box is cut from lightweight chipboard and I used tape to fasten the corners together. I covered the back and sides with Christmas patterned paper and used Glossy Accents as the adhesive for the gold glitter. (It is my opinion that ornaments can never have too much glitter. ;-) ) I popped the angel image and holly diecuts up using foam tape so it would all have dimension. The Tim Holtz Ring Fastener brads were very handy to use for the top and bottom hangers. I also glued them in place and covered the prongs with more glitter to hide them.
