Happy Monday, Everyone! Kecia Waters here with a card I made in effort to make you smile on this first day of the work week.
I've made lots of cards this summer with AJVD's "Seas the Day" by Whimsie Doodles, and here's one more. This time around I stamped the adorable seahorse image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto X-Press It cardstock. I colored it with Copic markers and cut around the image with my detailed scissors.
Using AJVD's "Oval Backdrop Die Set" I cut a piece of light blue vellum and stamped the sentiment from "Seas the Day" with Versafine Onyx Black and heat set it so it wouldn't smear. I dry-embossed a piece of acetate to achieve a textured look, and then scribbled a bit of an aqua Copic marker directly onto the acetate. I framed this scene with a white oval cute with AJVD's "Oval Backdrop Die Set"
I placed the oval onto a piece of patterned paper from Jillibean Soup. I rounded the corners and adhered two strips of white ric-rac felt trim. I adhered some clear buttons, with one tied with some Baker's Twine.
Other Supplies:
Copic markers, X-Press It cardstock, Jillibean Soup patterned paper, acetate, light blue vellum, Baker's Twine, buttons, Memento Tuxedo Black, Versafine Onyx Black, white felt
Thanks so much for visiting the AJVD blog! Have a terrific week!
Smiles,
