Seas The Day

AJVD, Whimsie Doodles, Kecia Waters, Copic markers

I've said it before and I'll say it again...I just can't stop making cards with Whimsie Doodles "Seas the Day" from AJVD.  This set is so much fun!  And that mermaid's hair.  Oh, how I love to color the mermaid's hair!

A Jillian Vance Design, Whimsie Doodles, Copic markers, Kecia Waters

To make this card, I sponged a circle cut from AJVD's Circle Backdrop Die Set with Ranger's Adirondack Pool dye ink.  I paper pierced around circle and framed it with black cardstock.  I stamped the mermaid onto X-Press It cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic markers.  I added a little bit of shimmer with Crystal Stickles.  I fussy cut the image and placed into the circle. Three crystal beads were placed into the circle to serve as bubbles.  The sentiment was stamped using Versafine Onyx Black pigment ink.

Patterned paper from Pebbles was paper pierced and faux stitched with a white colored pencil.  It was dry embossed and sponged with Ranger's Adirondack Pool dye ink.  This serves as the card panel, and was framed with black and light blue cardstock.  A button with Baker's Twine put the finishing touches onto this card.
