We're celebrating Christmas in July here at A Jillian Vance Design, and today I have a Happy Holidays Window Card!
I just love dies, and when I design a project I start with dies and then add other embellishments. For this card I wanted to make an opening, or aperture, in the card front, with the embellishment on the inside.
I adhered the red paper to the front of the card then die cut with the Banner Die. Then I stamped and embossed the Happy Holidays sentiment on coordinating paper and die cut it with the fancy die in the {die}namic Duo set. It is adhered with 3D Foam Squares so it has some dimension, and its just wide enough to hold the card closed. Kind of a fun and different approach to using dies on a card!
I used these supplies:
{die}namic Duo |
Banner {die}tails Nested Die Set |
Other Supplies:
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®: Creative Photo Corners Ivory, 3D Foam Squares White, E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips
Clearsnap: Colorbox Frost White Pigment Ink
Ranger Ink: Seafoam White Embossing Powder
Basic Grey: 25th and Pine collection
