Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop: a whole lotta love

Hello!  It's Amy here sharing a project for the

Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Make sure you check out the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, it's always a ton of fun!  A Jillian Vance Design is one of the Super Sponsors for the hop!  One lucky person that links up with a coffee, tea &/or cocoa card will be the winner of the $20 A Jillian Vance Design Gift card!

Today's project is, yes, coffee themed:

I used the

Simply Said:  Coffee & Jesus

coffee & jesus
simply said:  coffee & jesus

I did some simple masking and added the word Love to the sentiment.  Can you see that I die cut it twice?  Once with green cardstock and another time with black craft foam.  I adhered the two panels together to give the card a smidge of dimension.

Here's the Love die that I used:

I like how the Love word adds a bit of WOW to the sentiment.

Thanks so much for stoppin' by!!!!  I can't wait to be inspired by everyone's projects!

thinking of you...

Hello!  It's Amy T here! The other week Bunny posted a fabulous card (see it HERE).  Now how brilliant is that?!  I was totally inspired by it and came up with this design:

I'm a big fan of coffee, the color green and woodgrain!

a party without cake...

Hello, it's Amy T with a birthday card and coordinating envelope!

I never seem to have enough birthday cards on hand, how about you?  I absolutely ADORE the Celebrate Cake set:

I love that cake plate and embossed it in white.  The sentiment is so true, don't you agree?!  I heat embossed it in neon pink!  The embossing makes the sentiment/image pop off of the kraft card base.  A couple years ago I picked up a package of neon thread, I love how it curled on its own.

I decided to decorate the envelope.  I used neon pink ink with the sentiment and finished it off with washi:

This will be going postal to a special birthday girl!

sew special quilt

Hello, it's Amy T here with a 'quilted' card.

I love the  Grandma's Garden Quilt Block die:

You can have so much fun interchanging the hexagons with different colors/patterns of paper.

For those of you that follow my personal blog, you may remember we recently celebrated Darin's 50th birthday.  He had so many family members that flew/drove in for the festivities.  It was a wonderful time for everyone!  Darin's Aunt made him a gorgeous quilt that was map themed.  She mentioned that it would be perfect in the airplane, which is where it is now.

I stamped the interior of the card with a sentiment from the Sew Special Stamp Set:

I hope that she likes the card!

Thanks so much for stoppin' by!

happy blooming birthday!

Hello Hello!

It's Amy here with a Spring Time card:

This card is actually quite large at 5.5 x 5.5 inches.  I needed it to accommodate the design I had in mind.  I generally stick to A2 or 3.5 x 5.5 inches so it was fun to work with a larger 'canvas'.

I recently received Happy Mail from the good folks at A Jillian Vance Design and couldn't wait to dive into my new goodies.

This card was made specifically for a friend of mine that is an amazing baker/chef and green thumb.  Although I wish I could say the same for me, I tend to stick to the same menu items and I'm definitely a black thumb!

I wanted to also share that I prettied up the interior of the card:

Here are my A Jillian Vance Design Supplies:

The new Watering Can Die Set is AWESOME.  You supply the main part of the watering can and this Die set helps you to finish it off!

For my main part of a watering can, I used the {die}signer Pocket:
