A Little Christmas in July!

Hope everyone had a Happy and Safe 4th of July!
Who is in the mood for a Christmas card?
ME!!!
Here is a cute and simple Winter card using just a few of AJVD stamps and dies!

Wanting a starry night background I grabbed the Scattered Star Strip Die, it creates a gorgeous background for any occasion! I die cut my Polka Dot Rectangle Backdrop with it, then layered it on top of the Basic Rectangle Mirricard die cut so the beautiful silver would shine through!
Then layered a Slippery Slope die cut out of Ranger water color paper and watercolored a light blue using Salty Ocean Distress Ink (diluted down a lot to get the soft blue).
I die cut the Birch Trees and Birdies out of water color paper and watercolored them using  diluted Walnut Stain and Festive Berries Distress Inks.  It just gives this card a soft look with those bright stars!
Frosty was stamped on water color paper with Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink then watercolored using Festive Berries and Carved Pumpkin Distress Inks.
Distress Inks are the easiest way to watercolor for me as we have such a great variety of colors and easy peasy to do!
The larger star in the corner is the center of the Elegant 3D star!
And there you have a sweet and simple Christmas card to start your stash for the year!
