Welcome back! For this one I used some embossing powders on die cuts. I cut the lantern in brown cardstock and swiped embossing ink over the entire die cut and then used Seth Apter Crusty Copper Mixed Media powder. Then I added more ink over that once it cooled and used Tarnished Teal to add just a bit of patina to the copper.
I die cut the bulb and applied some gold glitter embossing powder in the same way. I die cut a panel from white cardstock and then added some blue Distress Oxides keeping the center lighter and then used darker blues around the edges. Then I added some Therm O Web Transfer Gel Duo through the Starry Night stencil and while it was wet sprinkled some more of the gold glitter embossing powder over the top and heated it. This does take some time and the gel will bubble... it looks really cool.
Finally, I added my lantern to the background, die cut vines and the bird from gel prints and then die cut the peace and embossed it in the gold. I stacked it over two more die cut words to give it some dimension and glued it in the corner.
That's me for today! Hope you'll come back again soon!
