Happy We Are Friends Card

Hi, Connie here with a mixed media style card using the NEW
Ornamental Octagon Stencil to create a beautiful and easy
flower to enhance the Antique Sewing Machine used for the 
focal image on the card front.

The background was created using Distress Oxide inks and the
Quilting Stitches Background stamp.  The birds are cut using the 
Feathered Friends Die with green cardstock and the Antique
Sewing Machine Die with black cardstock.
Step out photos below: 

1. Using the Ornamental Octagon Stencil and Kraft cardstock along
with a blue tone Distress Oxide ink apply the ink over the stencil.
Fussy cut around the center cluster leaving the petals attached to the center.
Ink around the petals a second time for a rich color.
2. Color palette shown for background of card.
3.Background stamped over the mixed media color.
4. Two birds and the Antique Sewing Machine for the card front.

The stencil flower is clustered with the Antique Sewing Machine and the
birds are added in for a great look!  The sentiment is from the 
Sew Blessed Stamps.  A fun card to make for that special
friend.
