A Gel Print Butterfly Set

I've got some more Gel Print fun for you today!  This time I used the new Beautiful Butterfly Die to create a die cut to use as a mask.  While I was creating the first background, I used another panel for my seconds!

This one... the butterfly die cut was placed over the gel plate that was covered in the blue-ish purple and the butterflie die cut was placed over it.  I took my print that already had a couple layers on it and laid it over the surface and applied pressure over the top and when I peeled off the panel, those beautiful colors underneath the die cut showed through.  I decided to use the new Mini Slimline dies to create a shaker... love that Mini Slimline Frame!

As soon as I removed the first panel, I peeled the die cut off of the Gel Plate and pressed my extra panel over the top of the plate where the butterfly impression was which left this very cool print.  And don't worry!  I saved the paint covered die cut and you'll see that sometime in the future.

I embellished both with word dies from the Slimline Rectangle Window and Words die set and flowers cut from one of my "reject" panels and used a strip from the Sentiment Strips die set for this one.

That's me for today!  I hope you enjoyed it and you'll come again soon!
