A Slice of Hope

Hello!  Happy Monday!  I've got a pretty floral for you today using lots of extras I had left over from previous projects along with that beautiful Rustic Wood Slice.

I often cut extras while I'm creating especially when I cut them from Copic friendly paper because it's nice if I need a flower to just have one handy and I can color it however I want.  I did cut a few of the Fresh Foliage leaves from some papers I had created when I was playing with my Gelli Plate the other day... I had a few prints that weren't all that great, but they make great pieces to cut die cuts from!  And I added Nuvo drops to the berry sprigs for some added dimension.

I cut the wood slice out of wood grain papers and the center wasn't quite the right color, so I used some Distress Oxide Ink to make it just right!

I just clustered all of my pieces together and stacked the hope word die before adding it at the end.

That's me for today!  Thanks so much for stopping and hope you'll come again soon!
