Welcome back! Today I've used the beautiful Elegant Christmas stamp set to create a slimline. I love these beautiful poinsettias!
I cut a panel of watercolor paper using the largest Stitched Dot Rectangle. I heat embossed the poinsettias onto the corners of the panel and then watercolored them with my watercolor pencils and a waterbrush. I stamped two corners taking up as much space as I could and then smaller portions of the images on the opposite corners. After they dried, I added some deeper colors with the pencils and then fussy cut them out, leaving the stitched edge so I could line it up on the base.
I cut the largest of the stitched slimlines in red and then the plaid slimline from a cream color. I added the stitched piece to another cream piece leaving 1/8" on each side and then adhered those to the red panel.
I popped the floral corners onto the card.. one large and one small over that.. and then embossed a sentiment from the Elegant Christmas set in gold onto cream and fussy cut that. Finally I popped the sentiment up into the center of the card and added some sequins in gold.
That's me for today! Thanks for stopping and hope you enjoyed it! Come again soon for more A Jillian Vance Design inspiration!
