Hi there it's Tracey back again today with another Christmas card that would be quick and easy to put together! I used the Merry Mistletoe die set to create a Christmas tree! I started by sponging a panel of cardstock using Grass Green and Seafoam Catherine Pooler inks. I flicked some clean water on to the panel and picked up some of the colour with a paper towel. Then I flicked on some watered down Perfect Pearls with a paint brush. In real life the added bit of sparkle from the Perfect Pearls is absolutely gorgeous! I was able to cut two of each of the larger branches and three of the small branch from one 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" panel. I trimmed down some of the pieces and glued them in the shape of a Christmas tree to a red panel cut with the Stitched Dot Rectangle Backdrop die. The berries from the Merry Mistletoe set were cut in white and coloured with Copic markers to be baubles on the tree. The sentiment is from the now retired Christmas Star stamp set, linked below for those of you who may have that set but you could use any Christmas sentiment you like. I stamped the sentiment on to a banner from the Instant Photo Frame die set.
TIP FOR MASS PRODUCING:
Sponge multiple panels, one panel per tree. Layout the dies and secure them together using purple tape or post it tape. You will be able to move the dies easily to each of the panels and will save so much time without needed to reset them each time!
Thanks for stopping in today!
