Hello everyone! Rosemary here today and with the holiday fast approaching I am in Christmas card making mode, lol! So today I'm sharing a quick card that I put together using the Merry KISSmas stamp set and the Merry Mistletoe die set.
To make things super quick I decided to use patterned paper for all my die cuts. I recently rediscovered two pads of Tim Holtz Christmas papers that I had purchased over a year ago. I knew I had them... just couldn't figure out where they were. Then one day as I was trying to get things a little more organized I found them... yay! The pad I used is full of papers with muted reds and greens and lots of different kinds of plaids. I used a green plaid for the mistletoe and a piece that had a floral type pattern on it for the bow. To tie everything together I used a strip of patterned paper that had both colors in it. That was adhered to white cardstock and then die cut with the largest Stitched Dot Rectangle die. I adhered the mistletoe and bow to the panel and then added a little button with some red twine threaded through it. It was at this point I realized that I had not stamped the sentiment! Yikes! Thankfully I was able to stamp it without any problem using my stamp positioning tool. I finished the panel off by adding a line of the twine to the top portion of the patterned paper strip and adhered the card to a dark red cardstsock base.
