Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you have a wonderful day today, with great food, friends, family and FUN! Since I'm in Canada, I'll just be celebrating 'Thursday', but that's ok! lol!
I've got a colourful holiday card that was inspired by a technique my friend Jessica showed last month
I cut the Checkerboard Cover Plate from white cardstock, and then I cut 7 of the 1/2 inch Sentiment Strip before colouring them with ink pads, direct to paper.
I chose a 'Christmas Rainbow' of inks, moving from red through yellow to green, to keep it festive. Then I carefully glued them behind each strip on the Checkerboard panel.
To finish the card, I stamped Happy Holidays from Big Christmas Greetings on white cardstock trimmed with the widest Sentiment Strip die and it kind of got lost on that busy, colourful background.
So I cut a black circle and the largest snowflake from Delicate Snowflake Trio to help make the sentiment pop a bit more.
