Happy Thanksgiving from Canada! It's Tracey here today and this past weekend was Thanksgiving weekend north of the border! We have had a spectacular show of leaves this year and they were absolutely peaking this past weekend. To top it off we had the most beautiful weather. I love everything about fall and today I have a card to share with you using the Leaves and Petals dies from A Jillian Vance Designs!
I die cut the leaves and then did some ink blending with Distress Oxide inks to mimic the leaves that are on the ground all over my property. Shades of green, brown, yellow, orange and red. Just so beautiful. After blending my paper leaves I adhered the leaves to the bottom of a Neenah Dessert Storm card base. Then a sentiment from the Be-Leaf in Yourself stamp set was added to the top left of the card base. I blended a bit of Gathered Twigs Distress Ink around the edges of the card base to bring in some warmth. Finally I flicked some Gansai Tambi Champagne Gold watercolour over the entire card to finish it off.
