Meet Me Under the Mistletoe

Hey there!  Wasn't last week fun with all the new release festivities?!  Rosemary here today and I was so worn out I needed a vacation and right now I'm having a ball visiting Yellowstone National Park, as well as the Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole WY!  Thank goodness for scheduling, right?  I have a card to share that uses two of the newly released die sets (Merry Mistletoe and Cozy Cottage Birdhouse... something coming soon using that die set!) and the Merry KISSmas stamp set.

I started my card by die cutting the mistletoe branches from watercolor cardstock and then coloring them with my ZIG Clean Color Real Brush markers.  I used two greens, as well as to light browns.  The little berries were also die cut from watercolor cardstock and then lightly color with a beige ZIG (but you can't really tell!).  When they were all dry I adhered them together with AJVD Just Glue It adhesive.  I used one of the dies from the Cozy Cottage Birdhouse die set to die cut the dark red strip you see.  I die cut off white cardstock with the smallest die from the Stitched Dot rectangle die set and then stamped the sentiment at the top so I could layer the red strip on top.   That was adhered to a kraft cardstock panel that I die cut with the largest Stitched Dot rectangle die.  Additional Just Glue adhesive was used to adhered my little bunch of mistletoe to the panel and then I finished with a little bow tied from dark red twine.   Love how this turned out!  Going to add this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of clean and simple.
