Hello everyone! Rosemary here with a nautical themed shaker card today. I used the two dies from the Anchors Aweigh die set as well as a sentiment from the You Are My Anchor stamp set.
I started my card by coloring a piece of watercolor paper with two shades of blue ZIG clean color real brush makers and clean water. Once the piece was dry I die cut it with the largest Stitched Dot rectangle die and then with the anchor die. I stamped the sentiment down in the corner using Catherine Pooler ink in Suede Shoes. Once that was done I adhered a piece of acetate behind the anchor opening and then added the foam tape around the shape. I used Snow Cap white and Royal Blue AJVD sequins for the shaker mix and then adhered a piece of white cardstock to the back of the panel. The sequins are in the sale category so grab them at a great price while you can! The shaker panel was adhered to a light gray cardstock card base. I finished by adding the little chain that I die cut from silver cardstock. Adding this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge to create your own background.
