Hi there it's Tracey back again today with a post for Christmas in July!
I made my first set of gift tags for the year using a few different A Jillian Vance Design products. I used the Stitched Dot Rectangle Backdrop die set to create the two layers of my tag, one for the larger white base and the black for the smaller center piece.
I did a little stamp surgery on the 'merry & bright' sentiment from the Shine Bright stamp set so that I could put it on two lines. Such an easy trick to do and if you want to put it back together again on another project it fit right back together--easy peasy! The Christmas bulbs from the Christmas Lights die set were cut from panels that were blended with Distress Oxide inks and the ornament tops were cut from a silver sparkle paper! Each tag has two different coloured ornaments on it, the smaller ornament is popped up with foam tape!
If you make tags that use a black or coloured cardstock and worry about how your writing will show up, the solution is easy. I use a Sharpie metallic pen in either silver or gold, they are a permanent resident in my wrapping station. It looks great and has amazing pop!
So there I have four tags done for the holidays!
Have you started yours yet?
Thanks for stopping in, have a wonderful day!
