a sweet hello...

Happy Wednesday everyone!  Rosemary here with a fun card I made using dies from the Delightful Daisy Create-a-Card and a sentiment from the Delightful Sentiments stamp set.

I recently purchased a 6x6 pad of papers from the Carta Bella Flower Market line and decided to use that to create my card.  I thought it would be fun to make the daisy from the red and white gingham paper from the pad so that was my starting point.  I then pulled the soft pink stripe for the background and another soft pink for the center circle, as well as the soft green for the leaves.  The ladybug was die cut from a scrap of the stripe and a floral pattern.  I stamped the sentiment using Catherine Pooler Rose Petals on the patterned paper and then die cut it.  The striped paper was die cut with the largest basic rectangle die and adhered to the white card base.  I figured out placement of the daisy so that I could then adhered the leaves using the A Jillian Vance Design Just Glue It liquid adhesive.  The daisy was glued on top and then I adhered the center circle with foam dimensionals.  The little ladybug was also adhered with foam dimensionals.   I love that big gingham daisy!
