Happy Wednesday everyone! Rosemary here today with a card made using the new Bold Butterfly stamp set that I colored with my ZIG Clean Color markers.
I stamped the butterfly on smooth bristol cardstock with VersaFine CLAIR Nocturne ink and then colored with several shades of blue ZIGS. When I was done coloring the butterfly and it was completely dry I trimmed it out. I also covered the butterfly's body and some of the dots with black Wink of Stella, but you can't really see it. I used the Vintage Floral Flourish INKboss impression plate on the blue cardstock to give it a subtle embossed look. The piece was then die cut with a plain rectangle backdrop die. White cardstock was die cut with the largest Stitched Dot Rectangle die and adhered to a aqua blue cardstock base. I then stamped the sentiment from the Bold Butterfly stamp set in the corner with the same ink I used to stamp the butterfly. When I trimmed out the butterfly I did not trim out the antennae so I created some by tying a knot in a piece of black twine and adhering it behind the butterfly's head. I then adhered the butterfly to the card with foam dots.
