Happy Wednesday everyone! Rosemary here today with a card that I made using the new A Jillian Vance Design Divine Cross Create-a-Card die set. Just like the Delightful Daisy Create-a-Card die set this set is very versatile. You can made a card using the large cross die (like I did) or you can add it to a card front. Can't wait to show you some other ideas I have!
This die will create a cross that will fit on an A2 size card front, but because it is so big you will need to make sure that you have every edge lined up so you get all the lovely stitching detail. I made the card base using white cardstock and then die cut the main cross from light blue and adhered it to my base. The lattice was die cut using the main cross and the interior lattice die. That was then layered onto the card as well. I die cut all of the little flowers and leaves and then arranged them on the cross. To make the label for my sentiment I actually used the rectangle with the tiny scalloped edge from the Minnie Pearl Tag set. I heat embossed the sentiment from the Divine Easter set on vellum and heat embossed in white. Then using the scalloped rectangle die I die cut the sentiment by arranging the die so that the top was close to the sentiment, die cutting it and then further die cutting the sentiment down so that it fit on the cross. I used glue dots to adhere the sentiment and added the additional flowers. Below is a photo of what it looks like standing up. I used the color palette from Sunday Stamps for my Cross card so I will be posting it there.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
