Happy Easter (with Alcohol Inks)

Hello! Ardyth here with a fun alcohol ink Easter egg and bunny.

I started by creating a pretty pastel panel of alcohol inks on Yupo paper. Then I made a smaller one with a couple of shades of brown. When they were both dry, I die cut the pastel one with the large solid egg from Eggstra Special, and the brown one with the large bunny from Chocolate Bunnies.

To create my sentiment, I used the Minnie Pearl Bookmark die as a strip. I trimmed the edges with the egg die so that it would fit perfectly and then I made the strip narrower by re-placing one of the die's edges parallel to the original edge before running it through my Gemini Jr die cutting machine. Confused? Don't worry, it's in the video!

I die cut the sentiment from the off cuts of my Easter egg and inlaid it into the white panel, to one side, to leave space for the chocolate bunny. I popped the sentiment panel up with foam tape for some dimension.

I dressed the bunny up with a white bow and popped up him as well - just at the bottom - his ears are adhered right to the sentiment panel.

Since the colours are the main focus,I put the whole thing onto a white card base to keep it clean.

Here's a video:
