Rainbow Love

Hi there, it's Tracey here and I am starting to make a few cards for Valentines's Day.  I have a card that I hope will give you all the feels on a winter's day with a rainbow of pretty flowers and a message of love!

I die cut the Dancing Daisies Cover Plate from some Bristol Smooth Cardstock and I sponged a rainbow with Distress Oxide Inks! I blended Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet together so that new colours were created when the inks blended together. I was careful after I cut the panel to leave the negative spaces in the die while I blended the inks. Once I was done I removed the negative piece and flicked some clean water on the panel and picked up some of the colour with paper towel. Next I flicked some watered down Copic Opaque White onto the panel and set it aside to dry.

While I was waiting I stamped and white embossed my two part sentiment from the tiny To & From stamp set. I added it to the centre of the card with foam tape for a bit of dimension. With this cover plate there are endless options of designs to create with it. With ink blending alone you can create it in almost any colour!

So did you get all the feels?
