Hi Crafty Friends!
Today I am bringing you this super fun and cute card that features great stamps from the Cross Stitch Love stamp set. You might be thinking...wait, a Valentine's card? Nope! Just an "I love you card" for my mom and this stamp set was perfect. My mom used to do cross stitch work and created the most gorgeous table cloths, so I wanted to make a card that reminded her of her work
On this card, I stamped the beautiful cross stitch heart in a repeated fashion using my tool called the Simple Circle Creator.
I positioned the needle between the hearts and stamped using a silver ink and then followed up with the cute 'thread' image using red distress ink. Next, I die cut two circles--one out of vellum and one out of dark red card stock to match the frame around the white card stock. I stamped the I love you sentiment on the vellum. Next, I attached the vellum to the red circle hiding my double sided tape behind the stitched heart.
Last, I finished the card by adding some sequin hearts I had in my stash and placed them between the top of the stitched hearts. SO CUTE! I covered the holes in the sequin hearts using Novo Crystal Drops in Red Berry. I also added some drops around the vellum to frame the sentiment. I love all the details!
