Christmas Greetings

Happy day before Thanksgiving everyone!  Rosemary here today and despite Thanksgiving being tomorrow (here in the US) I am sharing a Christmas card that I made using the beautiful Poinsettia Greetings stamp set and the matching dies.  If you don't know yet A Jillian Vance Design is having a Black Friday sale going on.  All the details can be found at the bottom of my post.  You could pick up the stamp and die set I have used today (and a few other things, too!) and save some money!

I stamped the poinsettia image on watercolor paper with watermark ink and then embossed the image with gold embossing powder.  The image was then watercolored with Ranger distress ink re-inkers in Forest Moss, Bundled Sage, Festive Berries and Wild Honey.  Once it was dry I die cut it with the matching die.  The word greeting is one of the dies that is included in the matching die set and I cut that from gold glitter cardstock as well as some scrap cardstock.  The two were then adhered together.  I trimmed down one side of a piece of off white cardstock so that I could adhere a strip of gold glitter cardstock to my card base and then pop the panel up over the strip.  The image was adhered and then I added the die cut sentiment and the sentiment strip to the card.
