Last year I learned how to crochet, so I am over-the-moon excited to share this card with you. I think it could serve as a Valentine card, don't you. Kecia Waters on the blog today.
To make this card, I sponged the following Distress Inks onto a scrap of white cardstock: Twisted Citron and Peeled Paint. Using the AJVD Ball of Yarn die set, I cut the ball of yarn and yarn string. Then using some metallic paper, I cut the crochet hook which is also a part of the Ball of Yarn die set. I cut a small slit into the "yarn ball" and inserted the hook. I attached the "yarn string" to the hook.
On a white card front, I added a gray shadow with a Copic marker and drew a black line. I placed the ball of yarn accordingly. Then using the OH Knit! stamp set, I stamped the sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black. Two small hearts from a punch and colored with Copics complete the details of this card.
