Ardyth here today with this fun nautical card. I used the new You Are My Anchor stamp set, Mini Sailboat die and created my waves with the Ball of Yarn die!
I started by die cutting two of the yarn balls and I used the stitching on them as a guide to colour them with blue and teal Copic markers. When that was finished, I pounced my Colorless blender over top to remove some colour and create texture. I cut them in half (and smaller) to create layers of waves.
I die cut the sail boat and coloured it with Copics, with minimal shading, just enough to add a bit of dimension.
I used Catherine Pooler inks to blend a clear blue sky onto a panel and then started to assemble the card. I felt like there was too much uninterrupted sky, so I added some interest by cutting a Stitched Dot Heart into it and popping up a white Sentiment Strip with my sentiment on it.
