Good morning! Ardyth here with another card using the new Dancing Daisies Cover Plate. Last week, I went cool and graphic, today, I'm creating a more classic look with these flowers.
I started by cutting a white panel with the cover plate and then masking off the frame. I blended Coral Cabana ink onto all the daisies, leaving the centres white, so that I could use Limoncello ink there, blending it up into the panels.
To add some more depth to the colours, I used a Copic Marker and flicked colour up into each petal.
I cut the flower centres and covered them in Limoncello ink, with some Tiki Torch around the edges.
I created my lush, green background with stencils created with the leaves from the Pansies Die Set. I blended Lime Rickey, Garden Party and Melon Ice. I cut it with the Cover Plate and inlaid it into the panel with the pink daisies.
My sentiment is from the Happy Birthday Stamp set and was stamped in Black Jack ink onto a strip cut from the Sentiment Strips dies.
