A Watercolored Flower Bouquet Birthday Card

Hello everyone... Helen is here. Today I have a watercolored birthday flower bouquet card to share with you all.

I use the Catherine Pooler Inks as the watercoloring medium on this card. They are amazing ink pads!

First, I stamped the bouquet of flowers from Bloom Stamp Set on a piece of heavyweight white cardstock using Midnight CP Ink Pad and Mini MISTI. I stamped it couple times. I heat set the ink with craft heater before the coloring process.

Coloring for me is a time to relax and I take time to color this bouquet of flowers. I added each color of the Catherine Pooler Ink Pads on craft mat and I picked it up with waterbrush one by one. These inks react with water easily. The colors I used on this card are: Rockin Red, Party Dress, It's A Girl, Flirty Fuchsia, Something Borrowed, Fiesta Blue, Aquatini, Grass Skirt, Lime Rickey, Tiara, Tiki Torch, and Tutti Frutti.

After watercoloring process, I dried the image with craft heater, and then I fussy cut it with micro-tip scissors.

I cut out a teal metallic cardstock using Diagonal Stripe Cover Plate Die and I added it on a white card base with adhesive glue. Then, I added the watercolored flower bouquet on the card with 3D foam tape.

For the sentiment, I die cut a white cardstock using one of the Sentiment Banners Die Set, stamped one of the Happy Birthday sentiments from the Happy Birthday Stamp Set using Black Jack CP Ink Pad. I added the sentiment banner on the card with glue dots.

And... I finished this card with some Snowcap White Opaque Sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Hope you all have a wonderful day!!!
