A Fringe Flower Hello

AJVD, Kecia Waters, fringe flower, hello, Distress Inks, flower
I have a confession.  I am absolutely in love with the AJVD Fringe Flower Die Set.  Would you just look at the dimension on that flower!  Kecia Waters on the blog today.

Using a sponge, I applied the following Distress Inks to a scrap of white cardstock:  Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry and Dusty Concord.  I cut two fringe flowers using the biggest dies in the AJVD Fringe Flower Die Set.  I adhered the two flowers on top of each other and slightly bent the petals upward.  I placed a yellow enamel dot in the center.

For the stem of the flower, I decided to do something a little less traditional.  Using a sponge, I applied some Distress Ink Twisted Citron and Distress Ink Peeled Paint to white cardstock.  Using the AJVD Hello DIEalogue Word Die, I cut the word and let it act as the stem. (If you like this die, better hurry as it is listed in the Last Chance section of the AJVD store).  I cut the small leaf from the AJVD Pretty Posies Stamp and Die Combo.  I then adhered all elements to a white card base.
