Springtime Love

Good morning! Ardyth here with a clean, fresh 'love' card using repetition and stamping to create different looks with one die. This card would work perfectly as a spring or summer wedding card, or anniversary card as well.

I started by stamping a panel with flowers from Well With My Soul, keeping the flower blossoms close together and not worrying too much about how it looked on the panel. I knew I wanted as many blossoms as possible to end up on the die cut. I used the Stacked Love die to cut it out and coloured in the flowers with copics. I cut it out again with black cardstock and glued the two together - this black edge is barely visible, but it adds definition to the coloured die cut.

I could have just adhered this to a white panel and it would have been very clean and simple and pretty. Instead, I chose to cut the Love out of the panel a few times, and inlay it back in. This just adds a bit of interest a repetition without taking attention away from the pretty floral Love. Once everything was laid back into the panel, I cut it out with the largest Stitched Dot Rectangle die, which gives the panel a nice finished look.
