Hey y'all! Shelly, here.
Happy Friday!!
Today, I'm sharing a Mother's Day card with you.
I had a lot of fun making this card. :) I started with my background, which I used some nuvo shimmer powder for. You simply spritz some water on your cardstock and then add the powder (a little more water, if you need/want to) and ta-da...you have a fun background. (of course let it dry before continuing on lol) ;)
Once done with my background, I then added a piece of adhesive foam sheet on the back and then used it with the flower burst die. I then took a piece of white cardstock and used it with the flower burst die. After, I placed my white die cut piece on top of my background die cut piece. Next, I added my 'mom' die cut piece. Which I used the 'mom' die with white cardstock (four times, though for my final layer I used some markers on my cardstock first, then used the die with it.) after I layer them all together and slightly let the white show under my top colored layer.
To finish things off, I added my die cut panel to a soft stone cardstock base, added my 'mom' on top and then added a banner with 'Happy Mother's Day' stamped on it. I thought it may need a touch of something else, so I added some clear dew drops. (I know you can't see them all but they're there.) ;)
So what do think?!...
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your day!
