Quick & Easy Gift Tags

Hello there, Lisa Hoel here to share some Christmas craftiness with you today. Can you believe it's only two weeks away? I do not feel ready! One thing I haven't even started is wrapping gifts. But, it is easy to whip up some cute handmade gift tags! I used the Minnie Pearl Tag Die Set and the To & From Stamp Set for all the main tag parts.

The Fresh Cut Pine Die Set was used on the left and
the Holly & Swirls Set for the right.

Cute patterned paper forms the base layer of these tags. Add a few die cuts and stamped to/from and you're set. What could be easier?

The top tag base I cut from kraft cardstock. The browns of the pinecone and bough complement it and give it a woodsy vibe. The poinsettia was stamped with archival ink and then I watercolored over the top using Distress Ink.  It's hard to see in the picture, but the tag base has Antique Linen Oxide Ink splotched onto it for more texture. The small tag has the word 'Joy' diecut through the top tag to reveal the red  layer underneath.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have some creative time in all the seasonal busyness. ;-)
