Happy Wednesday AJVD fans!! Succulents are all the rage right now and AJVD has some fun products that can help you create cards and gifts using these fun little plants. The card I'm sharing today uses the fun Stand Out Succulent die and the Succa for You stamp set.
I started my card by watercoloring some watercolor cardstock with several shades of green ZIGs and then dabbed in a bit of pink here and there. Once it was dry I die cut it with the Stand Out Succulent die and then pulled some of the parts of the succulent forward to give it some depth. The watercolor background was something I made awhile ago that I found in my work space so I just die cut it down with a Stitched Dot Rectangle and stamped it with the sentiment. I created the ground that the succulent is sitting on by watercoloring some watercolor cardstock with two shades of brown ZIGs and then die cutting it with one of the slope dies from the Slippery Slopes and Stitched Clouds die set. Put everything together and I was done!
