Good morning! Ardyth here with an attempt at no-line watercolouring, using Pretty Posies, and Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.
I am certainly no expert at this technique - this is only my second time giving it a try, but this big posy stamp is a great one to practice with!
I started by stamping the flower and some leaves with Antique Linen distress ink on watercolour paper. I then coloured each petal individually, making sure that I didn't start on an adjoining petal until the first one was dry. I used several different pink markers to create some variation in the colours and used a dark purple marker to create shadows where the top petals are laying over the ones underneath. The leaves were a little easier, because they really just need to be filled in with a couple of different colours.
I spritzed the flower with some clear water to add some texture and interest. I cut it and the leaves out using matching dies and then I created a background panel with some pale repeat stamping of a simple sentiment on the diagonal.
