Watercolored Mother's Day Card

Hello everyone... Helen is here today. I would love to share with you a watercolored card for Mother's Day.

For me, it is kindda hard for work on this special occasion card becuase my mom lives in Indonesia, and every year I cannot directly celebrate this day with her. But a handmade card is a way to send love to your special Mother.

I stamped the rose from Mother's Day Stamp Set with Versamark ink pad on a piece of Canson watercolor paper. Then I added some White embossing powder and heat set them with my craft heater.

Next I colored them with Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers and then I sprayed it with the mixture of Perfect Pearls and water. The result is that the colors turned into watercolor paint and shiny.

I die cut panel with the scallop rectangle die and added it on the card base. Then I stamped the sentiment on a piece of vellum paper with Versafine Onyx Black ink and added some clear embossing powder on it, then heat it with craft heater.

I finished the card with some of the pearl gems and natural twine from my stash. That's my card for you this week. I hope you are inspired to create a special handmade card for Mother's Day.

Thank You so much for stopping by!
