Happy Wednesday everyone!! Hope your week is going well. I have another Mother's day card to share with you. This one was created with the Beautiful Rose die as well as the Art Deco Backdrop die set.
This card actually started out as something different. I wasn't super crazy about the direction I was going in so I set everything aside and worked on a few other things. The other day I came back to it and decided to scrap the first idea. I kept the rose that I had created using patterned papers from a Teresa Collins pad. I had a couple of papers from that pad that coordinated with the rose and I used one to die cut the Art Deco frame. A second frame was die cut and the two were adhered together to give the frame a bit more heft. The woodgrain piece was die cut using one of the inner dies that comes in the set. After adhering the frame to the card base I added the woodgrain panel and rose using pop dots. That was going to be the end of it, but then I decided to create a panel for the inside of the card. You can see in the photo that I hadn't adhered it inside, but it is there now! I stamped the sentiment and flowers from the Mother's Day stamp set in VersaFine Smoky Gray. Then I colored the little flowers using two shades of pink Prisma pencils and a mint green Prisma pencil. Going to add this to the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of anything goes.

Thank you for sharing with us at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge x
What pretty papers you've used! Your design is fun and lets the rose stand on it's own. This is a lovely Mother's Day card!
