Pot Head. Pot Head. Pot Head.

Hey y'all! Happy Friday!!
Today, is the last day for the Spring Coffee Lover's Blog Hop...And with that being said, I have another coffee card to share!

Spring Hop 2017

Lately, I've been on this whole 'make your own background' kick...so I used the fun Pot Head stamp set to create my background and all.

I started with stamping on my coffee pot and then simply colored it in, which I also added a light blue outline around it. After, I added all my 'pot head' sentiments, using a light pink ink. Easy peasy, right?!...

Your Day to Shine by Yolie

It's almost Friday!  Hello Yolie here with today's project, Spring Birthday card using Birthday Art Stamp set.

I also used DCWV Flower Shop Stack and matching Prima flowers, love when that happens.

The card measures 5"x7" and I used various pattern paper from the stack.  I stamped the Birthday Art stamp on a cut out that measures 2"x3".  I used the Stamp Perfect to help with the alignment.

I layered 3 of the petals to make the flowers and used the sequins for the flower centers.  I also used some of the sequins to embellish the card.

Today is also my last day with AJVD Design Team.  I was blessed to guest design in the Fall for 3 months and then asked to stay on the Design Team for another 3 months.  It's been a wonderful 6 months working with Jillian and Bunny.  Thank you!

but first coffee...

Hello everyone!! Are you playing along with the spring Coffee Lover's blog hop???  Well I am!! My card today uses the fun Pot Head stamp set as well as the But, First Coffee stamp set.   A Jillian Vance Design is a super sponsor again so that means there is a fabulous prize from AJVD up for grabs!  YAY!!
I started by stamping the coffee pot from Pot Head on some watercolor paper using watermark ink and then heat embossing with black embossing powder.  Once that was done I colored the coffee portion using dark brown watercolor paint.  The image was then die cut with a Stitched Dot Rectangle die.  I rummaged through the patterned papers that I have just a few of and pulled out some older My Mind's Eye papers that have light spring like palette.  I die cut the grid paper with a Rectangle Backdrop die and the striped paper with a small Stitched Dot Rectangle die.  A few strips were trimmed down with my paper cutter.  Everything was layered and then I finished with the sentiment from But, First Coffee that was stamped on vellum with watermark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Happiness Is Coffee & A Friend

Hello everyone... Helen is here today :) Today is the Day 5 of the Spring 2017 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and Link Up Party and we are one of the Super Sponsors! We hope you all can join the party and link up your Spring coffee/tea/coca themed projects by March 31st.

I am a big fan of coffee and tea :) You can find great coffee collection at the store. I use Cup Of Love Stamp Set and Perk Up Stamp Set to create my card today. I stamped the stain glass cup background with archival ink pad and MISTI, then I colored it with ShinHan Touch Twin Marker.

I stamped the sentiment from Perk Up Stamp Set with archival ink pad. All the sentiments from this stamp set fit perfectly in the bottom box.

I decorated the cup with some roses from the Cup of Love stamp set. I stamped the rose buds and leaves with Prima Marketing Chalk Fluid Edger Pads and then I fussy cut them. I added some glitter on them with Spectrum Noir Sparkle Glitter Brush Pen.

Using glue pen I added the leaves, then I used 3D foam tape to add the roses on the card for extra dimension.

Thanks A Latte for stopping by today! I hope you all have fabulous day and join the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and Link Up Party this week!

Mixed Media Birthday Card

Hello everyone, Lisa Hoel here with a mixed media birthday card to share with you. It's amazing how you can get such different looks using the same stamps and dies. A few weeks ago I shared this card on the blog made with the Quatrefoil Cover Plate and Fringe Flower dies. Here is my new card made with the same  ones:

I applied a torn book page to the patterned paper card base with Collage Medium. While it was wet, I also adhered the background cut with the Quatrefoil die and added another layer of Collage Medium over it. Once everything was dry, I scribbled Distress Crayons (Peeled Paint and Seedless Preserves) onto parts of the background and blended them with a little water and my finger.

The flowers are cut out of coffee filters that I had misted with Spray Distress Stains (Dusty Concord, Ripe Persimmon and Spiced Marmalade). I like using coffee filters because they look like tissue paper but are stronger and you can color them however you want.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful week and a chance to get creative. ;-)

Spring Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!

Hey y'all! Shelly, here!
Happy Friday!!

Today is the day...the Spring Coffee Lover's Blog Hop has officially started! Yay! If you haven't participated in any of these hops before, you certainly need to check it out! Especially if you love coffee/cocoa/tea! :)

So here's what I came up with...

Coffee, Coffee, Coffee!

I kept things simple. I added my coffee stains (using the But First Coffee stamp set) with a minty green ink, for a 'springtime' pop of color. Then added my 'coffee coffee coffee' (using the Simply Said: Pot Head stamp set) with a brown ink. After, I used my panel with the Stitched Dot Rectangle die.

Once done, I used some fun and simple patterned paper for my background and then added my die cut panel over it. To finish things off, I added some twine. Easy peasy, right?!...
