golden valentine...

Hello!!  Hope everyone had a wonderful new years!!  Rosemary here on the blog today with a card I made for Valentine's day using the new Valentine's Day stamp set and some A Jillian Vance Design dies.

I know that we are only a week or so past Christmas, but Valentine's day will be here before you know it and so that means time to get started on those valentines!  The one I made today would be prefect to give the guy in your life.  Recently I purchased a bundle of My Mind's Eye products from the Yes, Please! line.  The bundle came with a package of these super cool acrylic shapes and I really wanted to use them on my card.  I pulled out a sheet of paper from the pad that had the xoxo motif and trimmed down a strip. The panel was die cut from some off white cardstock using the largest Stitched Dot rectangle die and then the strip adhered.  I die cut another panel of the off white cardstock with one of the smaller Stitched Dot rectangle and then matted it with some black paper from the 6x6 pad that I die cut with a Rectangle Backdrop die.  The sentiment was stamp in black in and then I added the fun gold acrylic hearts.  The panel was adhered, everything adhered to a card base and I was done!  Since I used a new AJVD stamp set and new papers and embellishments I'm going to add this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of something new.
