Merry Christmas ~ Poinsettia in a Pot!

I just love this new Poinsettia Die Set and Flower Pot Die Set!

You will see more cards using that Flower Pot Die Set for sure and not in the traditional way!

So many possibilities!  I used the medium petals, layered them with the small to create this perfect card sized poinsettia!  The Laurel Leaves act as pine branches!

First I stamped the Kraft layer with Cracked Paint Background Builder stamp using Wendy Vecchi Signature Archival Ink in Tree Branch, then stamped over that with the Scattered Snow Background Builder stamp using Picket Fence to give a "snowfall" look.  It makes a great backdrop for this card and the photo doesn't do it justice!  (also sorry about the yellow center, I never noticed it was bent in!)

Merry Christmas is from Christmas Lantern stamp set and it fits perfectly on our Stitched Sentiment Banners!
