Candles of Christmas Two Ways

Good morning! Ardyth here for my very first Guest post for A Jillian Vance Design!

I'm excited to be here! So excited that I made two cards with the same supplies!

First, I put the main image and sentiment on the inside of the card for a change.
I created a window with vellum to give the recipient a hint of what's inside.
I decorated the front of the card with some snowflakes and sequins.

Here's the inside. I embossed with a bronze-y powder to give the image an authentic stained-glass look and watercoloured the image.

As I was making the first card, I could see how beautiful the image was even without any colour. I took advantage of the size of the 'window' and trimmed it to show strips of my festive red cardbase. Simple and elegant!
