Happy Wednesday AJVD fans!!! Rosemary here with a sweet little card that I made using the beautiful Kelly's Hope stamp set. Did you know that if you purchase this stamp set AJVD donates a $1 from each sale to the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer. As October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month now is the perfect time to pick up this stamp set which you can find here.
For my card I stated with a piece of Ranger watercolor paper. I arranged the balloons from the set, as well as the sentiment on my mini MISTI, inked everything up with VersaMark watermark ink and then stamped. The images were covered with white embossing powder and heat set. Once that was done I scribbled on some light pink using a ZIG clean color marker and then blended everything out with clean water. I then colored the balloons with a dark pink ZIG marker and blended the color out with more clean water. After the panel had dried completely I die cut it with the second largest Stitched Dot Rectangle dies.. A piece of dark pink cardstock was die cut with the largest Stitched Dot Rectangle die. The panels were adhered as you see and then adhered to a white cardstock base. I'm going to add this to the current Time Out challenge which is breast cancer awareness and/or friendship and the added twist of pink and/or embossing.
