Hello A Jillian Vance Design fans!! Rosemary here with my weekly Wednesday post. I had so much fun making the card I posted last week that I decided to make another using the Birthday Art stamp set. This time I went bright and happy!
This card is really simple to make, but so much fun! I simply stamped the largest sentiment from the set using VersaMark wastermark ink on some watercolor paper. I applied clear embossing powder and then heat set. This is where the fun begins. I pulled out my ZIG clean color marker and chose colors that were in line with the colors of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet) and then just scribbled them in that order on my embossed piece. I used some clean water to then blend out the colors. Once the piece was dry I die cut it with a Rectangle Backdrop die. I did have to add a little bit more red and violet, but not too much. The panel was amounted on a piece of white cardstock that had been partially embossed with a star embossing folder and then tied with some black and white baker's twine. Everything was then mounted on a light grey card base.

Love this card, and all the ideas you give me. I have a hard time trying to find the cards on Pinterest. Would you ever consider a Pinterest link right on the photo? I love adding them to my collection of ideas. Thanks so much. Peggy from White Bear Lake, MN
Rosemary, what a darling card this is.
Hello Peggy ~
We do have the Pinterst links right on the photos. If you mouse over the photo of each card, there should be a Pinterest "save" button in the top left hand corner, on each of our photos on the posts.
Thanks so much!
