hello super star...

Hey A Jillian Vance Design fans!!! Hope you are having a great week!!  Rosemary here on the blog today with a card I made using the new Stitched Dot Star dies set and the new Star Sentiments stamp set.  Star Sentiments is a fabulous set full of great sentiments that can be used for all kinds of celebrations and occasions.

My card today would be perfect for a back to school card for your kiddo.  The colors I used for my card are for a girl, but just switch them up and it would work for a boy, as well.  I used patterned paper from the My Mind's Eye Hooray! collection.  I die cut the small stars from some rose gold foil embossed patterned paper and the large star from some of the regular patterned paper in the pad.  A could of strips of patterned paper were trimmed and then adhered to the card base.  I stamped the sentiment in Vintage Sepia ink and then adhered the star using foam dimensionals.  The smaller stars were then arranged as you see.  A simple, but effective design don't you think??  I'm going to add this to the current Simon Says Stamp challenge of make for the border since I created the border accent for my card.
