Happy Monday to you! Hope this day finds you smiling! Kecia Waters on the blog today, sharing a card made using the "Simply Said: Happy Daisy" stamp set.
To make this card, I cut an oval with X-Press It cardstock using the AJVD "Oval Backdrop Die Set". I stamped the daisy image from "Simply Said: Happy Daisy" with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then colored the daisy with Copic markers. I then stamped the daisy onto masking film and made a mask for my colored daisy. I sponged Adirondack Sunshine Yellow and Adirondack Sunset Orange onto the oval panel. Once completed, I removed the mask and placed the oval onto a white cardstock panel. I then stamped the sentiment directly onto the card with Versafine Onyx Black. What a quick CAS card! I'm thinking I'd like to play around with some other colors for the background. I just love to pop white against color.
